Dutch Treat: Not all profit sharing is bad, it depends on where the money is supposed to come from
When you are an active member on social network you must have seen the comments that profit sharing sites are a bad thing.
If you paid close attention you may have noticed that this negative comments applied to the way these systems are structured and/or the people behind these sites.
The concept of profit sharing is as old as the world. Of course if there is no profit, there is nothing to share. You can only have real and lasting profits if the money comes from revenues from real products and/ or services.

APSense Social Network: and why is this my favorite network
APSense is my favorit network at this moment. I am a free member now but planning to upgrade as soon as funds allow it. But also as a free member you have lots of oppertunties to make connections, promote and brand yourself and your business and business oppertunities.
As a free member you can earn credits (you can spend for your own promotions) by preforming simple tasks.

Which social network should you join? And how many?
There are many social network and there are launched new ones frequently. They have all in common that they are great for makking connections and to advertise your business. However there are big diffrences in the costs; although most of them are free to join, most extra feautures cost money (either purchase credits or upgrade). Some are very easy to use, others are more difficult. So which one to choose depends on your personal preference and the money you are prepared to spend.
With the technology of today sharing content is easy, also between social networks and blogs. If you do share posts between your social networks my advice is not to post an article an every network (unless you rewrite and refrase it). I am certainly not a SEO expert but I do know that Google likes unique content opposite to copy that is already posted on milions of sites.
In the other posts in this category I am going to share my personal opinion of networks and blogs I use myself. Plus some tips how to make money with them and tips to get followers.

How to choose programs to join? There are so many!
There are new programs added every day, one even more appealing than the other. But you can\'t join them all. It is best to focus on an few programs and advertise those as much as you can. Before joining something I always ask myself some questions:
- Is it a real service or product? When there is no real product or service, so just some cash pyramide stucture i do not join. Many of them collaps or just dissapear.
- Are the statements realistic?
- Can I verify the owner of the business. What comes up when I google the program ( I also google on the name of the program/company and scam . Of course when a program is brand new there will not be much found. But you can read the TOS.
- If I am still unsure I ask my contacts who have been around a long time and are experts in their field.
- How much work is involved? There are some programs which work on autopilot when you can find some referals. It only requires regular surfing.
- Use your common sense and: when something sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
I was lucky to find an e-book when I just started. It prevented me from making many beginner mistakes. It is not free, it costs 5 dollar but it is worh every penny of it. This E-book Stop being a victim explaines how to recognize internet scams, why certain business models can never work, how to get the most of TE surfing and much more. I can really recommend it. Publisher is Online Business Alliance (OBA), a solid and respected company and around for years. If you have not started or your online business it not making money you should read it.
